Do you really take small jobs?
Yes — small work is our core business. A loose handrail, one sticking door, or a shelf that needs mounting are all welcome jobs. Many customers save up several fixes and book one efficient visit.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Steady Home Works is registered in Connecticut and carries liability insurance. Documentation is available on request before any work begins.
How is pricing handled?
You receive a written estimate before work starts — flat pricing for defined jobs, never an open-ended hourly meter. If something changes mid-job, we check with you first.
Can family members arrange work for a parent's home?
Absolutely. Adult children, caregivers, and home-care providers arrange much of our work. We coordinate schedules, communicate clearly, and send photo summaries when you can't be there.
Are you a home-care or medical provider?
No — we're a handyman and home-maintenance service. We install the physical improvements that make homes safer and more comfortable, and we're glad to work alongside care providers' recommendations.
